Le Zoccate Garden

Le Zoccate is a garden of spontaneous flora in Apulia, Southern Italy.
In collaboration with local associations, Le Zoccate hosts cultural events and workshops – with due emphasis given to those supporting biodiversity and sustainability.
Set amid the relics of a 15th century limestone quarry, the garden features a huge variety of local native plants, as none of them is weeded out, but rather encouraged to proliferate.
One of the many species thriving in the acreage, the magpie, features in the brand identity that I designed for the creators of this peaceful, much loved sanctuary.
Flyers, brochures and merchandise were designed for the visitors who, every year from April to June, come to see the stunning variety of native flora colouring the meadows.
